More-than-mezcal
Join the team at Sorbito for the very first pre-launch event!
We’ve very pleased to welcome Vinik Juré from Mexico, who will co-host this small run of sessions along with Sin Gusano Project founder Jon Darby.
Vinik is social ecologist who lives in Oaxaca and has a deep knowledge of the land and its communities. During an evening of story-telling and conversation he will take us beyond the bottles and show how real mezcal is inextricably linked to the communities and landscape it comes from. And of course, we’ll be sampling the very best agave spirits along the way.
These sessions will focus on the southern-Oaxaca valley of Miahuatlán. A region extremely rich in biodiversity and peppered with hundreds of small-scale producers. As well as some of the rarest bottlings on the market, you will get to taste from the Sin Gusano private collection, and special samples brought by Vinik fresh from Mexico.
Please arrive at the listed start time for a welcome drink. The session will begin 30 minutes later. Sorbito does not have a kitchen… try NOT to arrive hungry!
We’re very excited to welcome the first people through the doors of Sorbito. These will be intimate sessions and space is extremely limited. Don’t delay, secure your ticket today.
